For the past 10 months the DTA and Ethos CRS have worked in partnership to develop a digital style manual. Both organisations brought unique insights, expertise and enthusiasm to the project. The result is a searchable, functional, comprehensive, practical and authoritative product.
The new Style Manual will make the work of producing and communicating complex ideas easier for busy professionals.
The Style Manual has reached an exciting milestone. After almost 18 years, the updated Style Manual has been released for public testing and feedback.
Over the next month, experts in design and editing will review the Style Manual. It will be tested with 10 teams in 6 agencies.
Feedback will be incorporated into the Live release, expected this September.
We’d like to thank the DTA for taking on this important project on behalf of the public service—and actually on behalf of a wider audience that is equally in need of guidance when it comes to writing style.
Finally, we must thank the managing editor, Leanne Manthorpe, and her team for their energy, application and commitment to this project and their commitment to good work.
