Simon Dowse

Senior Facilitator and Adviser

Simon has worked at senior levels in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

His ADF career included postings as commandant of the Defence Intelligence Training Centre and a member of the Army Command and Staff College's directing staff. Within DFAT, Simon concentrated on the coordination of multi-agency capabilities to manage risk and achieve national policy objectives.

Simon has designed, led and delivered training for the ADF and DFAT in management and leadership, organisational culture, team building and effective communications. He is experienced in building and leading teams to analyse and respond to Government's security sector priorities and requirements.
