Organisations run projects to achieve … something. Time and resources are spent on projects and project teams. Despite this, according to the Project Management Institute, only 69 per cent of projects deliver the business outcomes that were identified as the purpose of the particular project.
Ideas are one thing. Effort another. Positive benefits or value, another thing all together.
If projects are to succeed, then benefits must be consciously created and managed by organisations and project teams.
This is where Ethos CRS comes in. To complement our project management workshop, we’re launching a benefits management Masterclass for senior executives who work in project sponsorship and governance roles.
Using real life examples and case studies, participants examine and apply the principles of benefits management and benefit management activities through the life of a project.
This Masterclass will equip senior executives with the knowledge to guide projects and give organisations confidence that they are receiving the information that is needed to meet governance responsibilities.

This Masterclass is led by Peter Morris, our project management guru.
As a senior facilitator and adviser, Peter brings long years of experience to the work of public sector project management and leadership. He is a project management expert, and applies a systematic approach to guarantee that projects are successfully delivered.
Peter is a qualified and experienced professional who, during his army career, managed and delivered complex logistical projects. In the Australian Tax Office, he led specialist teams to deliver projects on time, to the required standard and within budget.
Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Managers and Leaders, and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
