John O’Meara

John O’Meara has worked for more than 35 years in publishing, news production and strategic government communication. As a book publisher John provided editing, proofreading, design, indexing and print management services. His journalism career focused on magazine and newspaper sub-editing, page layout and production. He was the first publishing manager of The Age.

John entered government work as a speechwriter. He has managed many annual reports and been immersed in budget reporting and performance evaluation. John is an Accredited Editor with the Institute of Professional Editors.
