Earlier this year, we launched The 2021 Scorecard project: Australian Government agencies, where we analysed the readability of documents produced by Australian government agencies. We measured government writing against the guidelines set out in the Australian Government Style Manual.
We concluded that improved readability means a more transparent and accessible government for Australians.
