Society has been conditioned to favour male leaders, forcing women to navigate the working world around these subconscious expectations and ideas. When tough words are said by a woman they are often seen as bossy, yet when those same words are said by a man, they are seen as strong leaders.
On 14 August, an expert panel will come together in our upcoming Women in leadership webinar to discuss leading as women, and how women can thrive in male dominated professions.
Kate Wall, a former chief political correspondent for ABC Radio will be joined by Mary Harwood, Senior Facilitator and Adviser at Ethos CRS, Suzie Brady, Director of Communications at Adobe, and Amelia Tandy, Policy Support Officer, Climate Science Centre at the CSIRO.
